Gilfach Bargoed Home

In a pivotal match of the season, the Smurfs hosted Gilfach in Dinas Powys for the return fixture.

Rink 3 witnessed a battle between Mike Prosser and Kristian Crocker. After 10 ends, the home team was leading 10-5, and they maintained their advantage to clinch the match 19-14 after 21 ends.

Rink 4 showcased the clash of Matthew Woodcock and Carl Wood, aptly dubbed the "Battle of the Woods." At the halfway mark, the visitors held a slim lead of 10-12, but after 21 ends, the home side triumphed with a final score of 23-17.
