RTB Ebbw Vale Away

Dinas travelled to welsh champions RTB today in which was always going to be a uphill struggle and the home side definitely started the stronger on 3 rinks and led by 9 after 5 ends. By 10 ends the Dinas had reduced this to 2 shots with only one winning rink but the other 3 fighting hard. But by 15 ends the champions showed their class to lead by 12 shots. By the end RTB Ebbw Vale Bowls Club extended this lead and finished up winning the game by 30 shots, taking a fully deserved 12 points. Dinas took a valuable 2 points and go again tomorrow night at Whitchurch b.c. many thanks to RTB for there hospitality and a superb buffet.
